a question to professional photographers/fashion photographers?
Hi im studying photography at Drexel University in hopes to become a well established fashion photographer. I have 2 questions for you guys.
1)Do I have a chance breaking into the world of fashion photography? I am one of the best in my class and I live and breathe photography and fashion.
2)Would it be a good Idea to take some fashion courses or is that a waste of my time?

1) I know this might sound like I’m trivializing what you’ve said, but it really would be best to give us a link to some of your shots.
2) If you know your way around studio lights, know how to use effects (Fans, etc) safely within a studio environment, how different fabrics turn out in photo, then you could choose to forgo the course. However, it probably looks better on your résumé if you’ve got as many courses as you could practically be expected to have.
But then again, I wouldn’t know too much about the second statement of mine, I don’t do fashion much, in my spare time or professionally.
